About Inflatable Law

Firstly, is important to point out that there is NO inflatable manufacturing or testing laws. There are only GUIDANCE NOTES issued by the British Standard (BSEN 14960).

This guidance note puts forward the safest way to manufacture inflatable that will be sold commercially or hired.

This is the ONLY standard that anyone has to adhere to. If you are being told you
MUST have a test by a particular brand of testing then this is mis-information and
incorrect.

BS EN 14960 states that an a safe test can be carried out by a COMPETENT person within the industry. Hence why us here at Safe Inflatables are able to produce a perfectly valid safety inspection and produce a test certificate.
